Purses & Accessories Still Needed
We are still accepting gently used purses and accessories for our Wall of Purses & Accessories at the November luncheon. We are also looking for small items to stuff the bags. If you have a business, and wish to advertise with some small promotional item, please let me know. Contact Jen Moesner at 1stvice@fortmeadeosc.org.
Models Wanted
We are looking for 5-6 members to model in our Accessory Fashion Show at the November luncheon. The only requirement is that you wear black. Contact 1stvice@fortmeadeosc.org.
November luncheon
The November luncheon “Fashion Forward” will be held on Thursday, November 17 at 10:30am at The Courses Ft. Meade. Cost is $15. We will be featuring our Wall of Purses & Accessories, so come ready to shop (most purses will be $5). If you buy a purse, you will have a chance to win a new purse or accessory. We will also have an accessory fashion show–learn how to accessorize and get more mileage out of your wardrobe. Please note that the RSVP date for the November luncheon is Tuesday, November 8. You can now RSVP directly at www.fortmeadeosc.org. You also have the option to pay for your luncheon using paypal for a $1 charge. You must RSVP to attend the luncheon; sorry, no walk-ins on the day of the luncheon.
A Gentle Reminder
We need donations to fill our HUGE Longaberger Baskets! For those of you with any type of home-based business please donate an item to our Vendor Explosion Basket, and we are also looking for games, movies, non-perishable snacks, recipes for fun family snacks and anything else you can imagine for our Family Fun Basket. Sarah would like to have at least one of the baskets ready to show at the luncheon, so keep the donations coming! These baskets, alone, are worth over $300 each, and they are signed by not only the weavers who made them but also by Gary Longaberger (10)! Thank you so much to Pat Hagerty for donating them! We play for fun…no stress…keep score if you want…don’t keep score if you don’t want to. Our group is for beginners and pros. So please contact Debbie and get on the list. You must be on the list to play, please contact Debbie before attending.

Wednesday, November 2, 9:30am. Bowling Bunch. The Lanes at Fort Meade. The cost is $5.50 for 3 games and includes shoe rental. Bowling is usually followed by lunch. This year it will be drop-in bowling and no official league. The Bowling Bunch meets every other week. RSVP to Liz Pacileo at lljpac@gmail.com so that she knows how many lanes to request.
